One system fora London tradecounter

The situation

Orders arrived by phone, WhatsApp and at the counter. Credit balances lived in a shared spreadsheet. The till stopped when the internet dropped. Every Monday, someone spent the morning producing and emailing customer statements one by one.

What we built

A single system covering point of sale, customer credit accounts, stock, invoicing and automated weekly statements. The point of sale queues transactions locally when the connection fails and syncs when it returns. Every invoice, statement and reminder is tracked from sent to delivered.

How we delivered it

We built the system inside the working business, alongside the people using it, and replaced one process at a time so trading never stopped. Customer records, products, prices and opening balances were migrated from the existing spreadsheets.

Where it is now

The system runs the client's daily trading. We host it, support it and continue to develop it. It became the foundation of PalletPOS, now available to other wholesalers.
